Rio RV Park is privately owned by Lee Zieger for 28 years. His abilities are recognized by peers in the Tourism and RV leadership industry at the local, state, and national levels. Jennie, Office Manager, brings decades of hospitality experience from the hotel industry and restaurant management. We believe in having fun building friendships in a clean safe environment for park and area enjoyment. We strive to be the best we can be in Facility, Programs, and Services.
Rio’s activities make it fun and friendly to enjoy your fellow campers in our tropical climate. The dinners, pool parties, beach parties, professional shows, Free Mexico Guided Day Trips, best ball golf days, bowling, mixers, luncheons, and theme parties are great for meeting your neighbors. Winter Daily activities calendar has all the weekly activities like bingo, potluck, cards, shuffleboard, Spanish lessons, computer lessons, crafts, breakfasts, church, and a lot more fun activities.

Suited us just fine: We're new RV’ers and spent a month at Rio RV Park. The park was small enough so you could easily meet people. We enjoyed the "event" nights -- new visitors, Valentine's, birder talk, etc. Amenities were good -- pool, games room, private mailbox
This RV Park is a great place to really enjoy the southern Gulf Coast of Texas. Cool in the summer, warm in the winter. Water pressure is excellent, electrical outstanding. We traveled all over Texas, one of the only places that the electricity has kept up with our air conditioning. The park has excellent pet facilities, an excellent pool, and Great wildlife. My husband and I just left your lovely park, having spent a portion of this winter there. We've been traveling for years and have 'seen it all', (good and bad), and just have to compliment you on your wifi service. It is the best we’ve encountered in our travels. We look forward to coming back to Rio, and wish you well.
